Cloud Technology Associate (CTA)
26 FEB 2018-28 FEB 2018 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (3 Days)
An official CCC Cloud Technology Associate is a 3 day course, run by the Master Trainer itself. There are only few worldwide classes that run by the Master Trainer on exceptional request, we call it as a Master class.
Cloud Technology Associate (CTA) certification provides a strong starting point for understanding cloud computing and/or validating your cloud knowledge. The certificate covers core concepts of cloud computing and virtualization, cloud risks, security and governance, and dives into cloud service management. It also looks at preparation for successful cloud adoption.
Cloud computing has become the new norm and is affecting organizations and people on both sides of the IT/Business divide. The CTA bridges this gap with a business focused syllabus that offers the base technical knowledge required to be well versed in cloud computing specifics. In this respect, the CTA aligns IT and business professionals and increases the opportunities for successfully leveraging cloud computing to reach organizational goals.
Cloud fundamentals - understand cloud characteristics, service models and deployment models thoroughly.
Virtualization - the backbone of cloud computing, learn what virtualization is, the benefits, challenges, risks and fit with the organization, and the types, role and purpose of hypervisors.
Overview of cloud technologies and applications - introduces everything from BYOD, MDM and EMM to Software Defined Networking (SDN), Network Functions Virtualization (NFV), Big Data, Analytics, NoSQL, NewSQL and HTML5.
Cloud security - beyond IT security, gain insights to the impact of cloud characteristics, services and deployment models for security, risk management and governance.
Preparation guidance for cloud adoption - get the hard skills to prepare your cloud strategy, roadmap and solution architectures for the various service and deployment models taking into account organizational capabilities.
Cloud service management - get an overview of CSM architecture, lifecycle and actors, business support, provisioning, configuration, portability and interoperability.
The course allows IT professionals to operate effectively in a cloud environment as they can demonstrate an understanding of the key concepts and relevant terminology. It furthermore provides the foundation needed in order to successfully complete subsequent vendor-specific training/certification programs and also provides a baseline for the subsequent CCC Professional level certifications.
Participants report that this training allows them to better communicate with their peers on cloud benefits and risks, and that they are in a better position to evaluate vendor proposals for cloud computing.
